Antero Alli, a fantastic author on astrology, wrote a book where he had
the idea of the chart houses (those "wedges," as I call them) as
"states" of existence, much as I've outlined in a prior post.
But what I found helpful was to turn the idea of houses into
"cities" around the world. To me, the chart IS a
"world view" of our lives on an individual level. Here are my
ideas for the 12 "city-states" of the world of our lives, along with the
dynamics of each.
In each “city” or house, we all find a new means of understanding a particular
experience or Life Lesson that is crucial for our growth as individuals and also
for the Four Primary Objectives/Goals of being born on Earth: physical, mental,
emotional, and spiritual learning.
It is said that these are unique in their strengths because of the
vibrations of the Earth Herself as a Living Entity (She grows Life in multiple
forms), and therefore, our capacity to experience the houses (or “cities”) is vital
to our knowledge of “how and why” we react and respond to the astrological
messages of signs and planets in each house.
